Pricing & Procedure

Prices start at $800

For each additional figure on canvas, add 75% of the list price. All travel, lodging, framing and shipping expenses are in addition to the prices listed above. All canvas sizes are approximate.

PROCEDURE

Initially the client and artist get acquainted at either the client’s location or the artist’s studio. Mr. Singletary then holds one and possibly two photographic sittings of about two hours.

The artist returns to his studio to select four to six photographs to use as reference and enlarges them to 8″x 10″ size. These photographs are submitted to the client for comments. Mr. Singletary and the client discuss the photographs either by phone or in person and, upon the client’s approval, the artist proceeds with the portrait. If another photographic session is required, it can be arranged at that point.

Note: Before the artist agrees to paint a posthumous portrait, he feels it is necessary to see the reference material from which he will be working to ensure the highest quality portrait.
